Illusory Reflection Silk Scarf

The artwork is set against a warm earthy brown base, interwoven with deep purple vines, vibrant orange-red flower clusters and agile hummingbirds. Twisting and spreading foliage resembles illusory reflections cast upon the water surface. The unrestrained tropical plant motifs serve as a metaphor for humanity’s inner spiritual realm: those hazy, fleeting thoughts and imaginations in our minds seem intangible, yet they piece together the complete core of the self.

This 63cm square scarf faithfully reproduces the illustrative brushwork and preserves all hand-painted textures. Crafted from 12-momme mulberry silk, it carries the rich retro colour palette. Meticulous hand-rolled hems neatly finish every edge. Transforming abstract spiritual philosophy into a wearable artistic vessel, the scarf is far more than an accessory — it is a portable expression of emotion. When worn, blooming flowers and hummingbirds unfurl across your neck and shoulders.

The vine reflections evoke the realm of imagination, intangible yet formative to who we are. Through this flourishing scene, the artist lets you carry your inner imagined world into everyday life.
